This day is as much about putting a spotlight on the stigma and erasure that comes with being bisexual as it is about coming out as bisexual itself.
We are not what people think we are. Why people STILL act as if ONLY bisexuals are this is beyond me.
Outside and in the LGBT community, we are seen as being too straight to be gay, too gay to be straight. But we're bisexual. Just bisexual.
There is no one way to be bisexual. We are all valid, we all exist, to just be ourselves.
I can't wait for the day when people can be bi without stigma and erasure. I hope we will live to see a time when people can just get over it, and just be nice to bisexual people. It isn't that hard.
Let's not be visible just today, but all year 'round.
We can end the erasure and the stigma.
